Caitlin and Brayden Hall were married at Hayes House on September 17, 2022.
Their style? – Sophisitcated with a touch of country!
Leaving the barn doors wide open, the sun streamed into the alter area that Caitlin chose to decorate with billowing white fabric. The beautiful tree line of the property provided the green texture that highlighted the bridal white and the dark red of the bridesmaids dresses.
Caitlin planned her wedding knowing that September is warm, but has plenty of space for the fall colors she chose for her Bridesmaids! The season also allowed her bridal dress to have a long and beautiful train without adding too many layers to her attire. The dress and bouquet, along with the long braid of her hair lent old world charm and elegance to her wedding. The simple lace of her veil complimented the elegance of her dress.
The Groom and Groomsmen brought the feel of the open barn wedding with matching jeans and white button down shirts. The boutonnieres added a splash of color to the men’s attire.
The Bride chose to match the bouquets of her Bridesmaids with her own bouquet and those colors and flowers were carried into the Groom and Groomsmen’s boutineeres.
The Bride chose to open the barn doors entirely allowing a breeze and September treed greenery backdrop for the wedding party. Guests were seated with plenty of space on the rows of benches in the barn. The chandelier added elegance to the straw floor.
The Main Event Space was set as an elegant dining space. The outdoor awning provided a beautiful seating venue for guests to enjoy the wedding meal while still being immediately adjacent to the main building. The Bride & Groom table was set in front of the stone chimney inside the event space.
Caitlin and Brayden used the entire propery of Hayes House. The historic house became a sanctuary for the Bride and Bridesmaids to dress. The grounds provided scenic places for the entire wedding party for photos. The barn was the destination for the actual wedding and the temperature controlled event space and the covered portico provided a perfect reception area.
The Bride has a moment for some beautiful photos taken on the grounds of the historic Hayes House.
The Father of the Bride enjoyed a Father-Daughter dance and a quiet moment at the reception.
The couple chose a three tier wedding cake which they surrounded with single desserts and cupcakes. Rustic wood stools became the cake pedestals. A single sheet Groom’s Cake rounds out the table. The main cake is decorated with roses matching the table decor and the Bride’s bouquet.
Historic Hayes House came to life as the dressing area for the bride and her bridesmaids. The beautiful historic stairwell kept dresses from wrinkles and became a stunning bride’s photo just before the wedding ceremony. The wedding party was completed by their very cute ring bearer.
